Who We Are
Commissioned Network was birthed out of a shared vision between Steven Montgomery and Geoffrey Auma, two leaders from different continents united by the same calling: to reach the nations with the gospel, to make disciples with thorough follow-up, and to empower pastors and leaders to build sustainable, self-funded ministries.
Steven Montgomery
The son of a missionary, Steven has spent his life at the intersection of faith and business. Based in the United States, he has started and run seven businesses in the home services and franchising industries. With a heart for missions and a vision for sustainable ministry, Steven brings his entrepreneurial experience to the work of equipping pastors and leaders to become self-funded disciple-makers.
Geoffrey Auma
Geoffrey serves as the Missions Leader, Teacher, and Overseer of East Africa for Commissioned Network. Since 2019, he has faithfully led our work across the region. He operates several vegetable farms, a pig farm, and a trade school—all designed not only to provide for his family but also to model the power of business in supporting ministry. Geoffrey has raised up disciples and leaders in some of the most underserved regions of East Africa, offering training, hope, and the gospel completely free of charge.

Our Vision
We began our work in East Africa and, by God’s grace, have already established discipleship schools across Kenya, Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda, and the DRC. Today, we operate 23 discipleship centers in Kenya alone, with new endeavors underway in Nepal and Belize. Our vision is to see this strategy—gospel campaigns, discipleship schools, and business training—planted in many nations across the globe.
Our Faith
We are interdenominational, partnering with a variety of denominations and mission groups. Yet we are also:
Biblically based – the Bible is our source of truth.
Spirit-led – empowered by the Holy Spirit to carry out the Great Commission.
Conservative in conviction – holding firmly to biblical views on moral and social issues.
Above all, we exist to preach the name of Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to the glory of the Father.
