MISSION & HISTORY.
In 1996 - 2003 Missionaries James Lucas and Tim Montgomery traveled to Kenya. They started training programs in many villages across Kenya, training pastors and ministry leaders on discipleship, and how to effectively and biblically serve in God's Kingdom. In 2007 one student, Geoffrey Auma took these teachings and the vision of discipleship to Uganda. Geoffrey developed the training programs into long term discipleship schools across multiple nations.
In 2019 Steven Montgomery (the son of Tim Montgomery and grandson of James Lucas) and Geoffrey Auma connected and began working together. In 2020, after the passing of James Lucas, Steven and Geoffrey formed the Commissioned Network to continue the legacy and ministry of James Lucas.
The Commissioned Network exists to inspire and equip the global church for discipleship. We work to train pastors, ministry leaders, and everyday believers to make disciples. We fight against inactivity and apathy in the church. We exhort all believers to embrace the Great Commission by making disciples that make disciples. We do this through the School of Discipleship, Church Networking, Pastoral Training, Conferences, Prayer Gatherings, Church Planting, and Sending Missionaries.
DISCIPLEMAKERS.
Our mission is to make disciples that make disciples, we keep this as our primary focus at all times. We believe that if you put anything else at the forefront of the mission it becomes problematic. We view church planting, evangelistic events, mission trips, business training, and everything else as the fruit of disciple-making. So we like to keep the main thing the main thing. In all that we do we are DISCIPLEMAKERS

We can not accomplish this mission alone. We are developing National Directors in every nation where we have ministry, along with the support teams not listed here.
